limited edition reproductions - explained

As more folks buy Michelle’s art, we get more and more questions about her reproductions. Hopefully, a lot of those questions will get answered here. If not, just let us know. We very well might make additions to this page b/c of you! :)

Question 1 - What’s the difference between an original piece and a reproduction?

The original art Michelle creates is on canvas using acrylic paint and various mixed media materials such as, hand crafted papers, sewing patterns, maps, old letters, pages from vintage books, and other ephemera. She works with her hands to collage these materials directly onto the canvas and then seal them on to it. AIn most cases, when she finishes a piece, it is professionally photographed also available as a limited edition reproduction.
