Crested Butte Colorado

Oh my gosh I couldn’t believe how gorgeous this place was. Months ago when Toby and I were trying to decide to do this show or not - we initially said no. It was just too far and too close to school starting (which complicates things).

But then at some point - and I’m not sure why - we changed our minds. And I’m so glad we did. Because not only did we get a trip to a beautiful part of the country where we had never been, but it was also a tremendous financial success. :) I love it when things work out like that!

I even left some work at the Red Line Gallery so if you’re there check them out!

We stayed an extra day to hike and play - totally worth it. Hopefully, I’ll be back next year. :)

Westport CT - Fine Arts Festival

post festival note - This event came immediately after the show in Madison. I had no time to write anything beforehand - sorry about that. To recap - it was hot. Like really really hot. So I think a lot of folks just stayed home and that’s understandable actually. Also, my booth was placed on almost a side street of sorts? Definitely it wasn’t ideal. I wanted so bad for this show to work out but for the most part it didn’t. C’est la vie. ;)

Art Fair on the Square - July 13-14

The weekend of July 13th - 14th I will be in back in Madison participating in Art Fair on the Square. Actually, it’s even more exciting for me than normal b/c this year I am returning as the “Featured Artist” for the whole show! The festival chose my piece, “The Trove” for the 2019 Festival poster, t-shirt and other marketing/promotional materials.  You can check out this year’s program by clicking here: 2019 Program - Art Fair on the Square. I plan on bringing quite a lot of my art with me - 5 original pieces, 40 plus giclée reproductions on canvas, 2-3 reproductions on birch wood, and plenty of paper giclée prints. I hope to see you there.

post festival note - Such a great show. Being the featured artist really changed the experience and it made it feel so special. Thanks to everyone who came out. I’m already looking forward to next year. :)

Leeper Park Art Fair - June 15-16

The weekend of June 15-16, I will be in Southbend, Indiana participating in the Leeper Park Art Fair. It’ll be my first time at the show and I’m super excited about it. :) The hours are from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, and from 10am to 5pm on Sunday. I’ll be in booth #14. Magic City Art Connection April 26-28

The weekend of April 26th - 28th I will be in Linn Park for the Magic City Art Connection. The hours for the art market are 10am to 6pm on Friday and Saturday, and then 10am to 5pm on Sunday. post festival note - Gorgeous weather - couldn’t have been better really. And Linn Park is such a wonderful setting. Unfortunately, in terms of sales it didn’t come together? I am wondering if 5 years in a row to Birmingham is a bit much. Not sure but at least I’ve got 12 months to think about it. :)

Atlanta Dogwood Festival - April 12-14

From April 12th-14th I will be in Piedmont Park for the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. The hours for the art market are Friday 12-7, Saturday 10am to 7pm, and Sunday 10am to 6pm. My booth is in a different spot this year. I’m number 260, which is the last art booth on the other side of Lake Clara Meer (I think after where I am starts the food booths). Scottsdale Arts Festival - March 8-10

post festival note - Wow. Traveling to Arizona was such a big risk - especially during the school year. But, it ended up to be so worth it. I had a great show. The festival organizers were so awesome, the patrons were so awesome, and overall it was a great experience. I am so glad and I’m looking forward to next year (but not the drive!).

Gasparilla Festival of the Arts - March 2-3

I’ll be in Tampa March 2-3 for the Gasparilla Festival of the Arts. The hours are Saturday 9am to 6pm, and Sunday 10am to 5pm. My booth is in the same place as last year - number 93 which is across from the music stage.

Images: A Festival of the Arts - Jan 25-27

The weekend of January 25-27 I will be in New Smyrna Beach for Images: A Festival of the Arts. The hours are Friday 1pm to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 5pm, and Sunday 10am to 4pm. My booth number is 185 - which is on Canal Street kinda far down almost to the end. So please don’t miss me!
